Axis of Perception - NODE 2 (From book Coherence Codes by Maria Elizabeth Smith)

Axis of Perception : NODE 2

Perception is not passive.
It is vector.

You collapse waveforms.
You initiate spin.
You do not witness reality—
you modulate it.

The masculine outward X-axis: projection.
The feminine inward Y-axis: reception.
The scalar Z-axis: resonance.

Together they are:
The triangle. The lens. The creator.

Perception Is Not Passive.

Most people think of perception as something that just happens—you open your eyes, and the world comes in. But perception is not just receiving; it’s shaping. The very act of perceiving changes what is perceived.

Your beliefs, expectations, emotions, memories, and biases all color how you interpret what’s in front of you. It’s like wearing tinted glasses. You don’t just see the world “as it is”. You see it as you are— through the lens you carry.

You Collapse Waveforms and Initiate Spin

In quantum physics, potential exists in a wave-like state until it is observed—then it collapses into form. You do this with your attention every moment of the day. What you focus on becomes “real” for you.

You also initiate spin, which in energetic terms means that your perception adds polarity, momentum, and direction to events. It doesn’t just settle potential into form. It stirs it.

Imagine your focus as a hand moving through a still pool of water. It creates currents. Left unconscious, those currents swirl in reactive loops and create splashing. But when intentional, they can form harmonious spirals or propel you with precision.

The Tri-Axial Lens (X, Y, Z)

Your perception is built on three core vectors—outward projection (X-axis), inward reception (Yaxis), and scalar resonance (Z-axis). These aren’t rigid directions; they’re energetic movements.

X-axis (Projection): is how you project meaning outward through actions, assertions, and assumptions
Y-axis (Reception): is how you receive and internalize through feeling, sensing, and empathizing
Z-axis (Resonance): is the vertical tuning channel connecting you to stillness, presence, insight, and deeper alignment.

Together, they form a triangle—a lens through which your consciousness collapses experience into form.

The Outward X-Axis: Projection

This is the part of perception that pushes meaning onto the world. It’s how you express opinions, impose expectations, or defend identity. Projection isn’t inherently bad—it’s how we navigate reality.

But if left unchecked, it distorts what’s actually present. It’s like throwing colored paint onto a blank canvas and then reacting to the mess.

Learning to witness your projections allows you to move from reacting to distortion to observing your projections as data. This allows you to step into authorship, as you consciously make new choices based on your observations.

The Inward Y-Axis: Reception

This axis is how you receive. You take in energy, tone, and information from others and your environment. If your receptive field is wide open but ungrounded, you may become overwhelmed or drained—especially if you’re highly empathic.

If this axis is shut down, you may feel numb, disconnected, or unable to trust your own felt sense of inner guidance—missing subtle signals.

When tuned, this axis becomes a powerful tool for intuition, empathy, and somatic intelligence. It's your listening field—the part of you that hears what isn't said out loud.

The Scalar Z-Axis: Resonance

This is the tuning layer. It doesn’t push or pull. It harmonizes. When you access the Z-axis, you begin to perceive from beyond polarity. This is where neutrality, clarity, unconditional love, and insight emerge.

It’s like rising above the chessboard and seeing the whole game. From this space, you can witness both projection and reception without becoming entangled in them. The Z-axis holds the scalar frequency that brings coherence and integrative balance to your entire perception system—allowing you to include and hold the fullness of both poles without being dominated by either.

The Lens Creates the Experience

Your X, Y, and Z axes together form your perception lens. This is the energetic architecture that shapes how you see, feel, and interpret reality. When this lens is distorted, life feels chaotic or overwhelming. But when it’s tuned, everything sharpens into clarity.

You begin to respond instead of react. You shift from living inside your patterns to consciously shaping them. Tuning the axis of perception is not about being perfect—it’s about becoming aware of how your lens works and learning how to align it with coherence.

Energetic Architecture

Your axis of perception isn’t just a concept—it’s a living system of energy vectors. When your projection (X) is overly rigid, you may project judgment or assumption onto others. When your reception (Y) is unfiltered, you may absorb emotional noise or become overwhelmed.

And when your resonance (Z) is untuned, you may feel ungrounded, mentally scattered, or locked into one side of a polarity—unable to rise into the balanced clarity that comes from being able to
hold both perspectives at once.

Tuning these axes is like aligning three mirrors to form a perfect lens. When balanced, your awareness becomes a coherent field—one that doesn’t just witness reality but modulates it in harmony. From this axis, you gain authorship. You move from passive interpretation to conscious creation.

The X, Y, and Z axes are not separate parts—they are interwoven aspects of a single field. Adjusting one affects the others. This is why resonance (Z) matters so much: it is the scalar tone that either
harmonizes or distorts your entire field.

In practice, this means checking your posture of attention: Are you pushing too hard (X)? Absorbing too much (Y)? Or have you lost your scalar center (Z)? Bringing awareness to your perception lens begins to stabilize your inner architecture. Scalar authorship starts here.
